Second Presbyterian Church Fellows Program (Memphis, TN)
The Second Presbyterian Church Fellows program is a nine-month Christian leadership development training program and internship for recent college graduates. Each year a Fellows class consists of outstanding graduates who are proven leaders, motivated students and dedicated Christians who desire to grow spiritually, increase their knowledge of Scripture, gain career experiences, serve others for Christ and be a part of a strong Christian fellowship. Fellows take part in Bible study classes, along with seminars on theology and worldview, while also living with a host family, partnering with a mentor and engaging in an internship in a desired field of study. Trinity Presbyterian Church Fellows Program (Charlottesville, VA)
The Trinity Fellows Program is a nine-month (September through May)
leadership development and training program for young adults recently
out of college or graduate school. Twelve young men and women from all
walks of life come together to engage in a program designed to foster a
God-centered view of knowledge, culture, work and life. Fellows receive
theological training, participate in seminars with Christian scholars
and community leaders, and enjoy one-on-one mentoring relationships
with mature Christian men and women. Fellows apply their training as
they minister in the community, work in a marketplace internship and
interact with their host family. If you are interested in learning more
about this program, please visit their website at www.fellows.trinitycville.org or you can check out their blog at www.trinityfellowsprogram.blogspot.com.
Summer Camp Opportunities
The summer months during your college years are an excellent time to work at a summer camp. These camps give you the opportunity to build relationships with other camp counselors that will last a lifetime. They also give you a chance to serve younger kids and have a big impact on their growth and maturity. There are many good camps out there. I have listed a few that you might want to check out.
